You amazing little humans!! I sat here in our classroom Friday night after school. I started scrolling through all of the photos of our year together; I probably have at least 5,000 pictures from this year!! I love all the fun times we had and all of the amazing memories we've created together! Of course, because I'm an emotional wreck, as you all know very well, I started crying as I looked through our pictures. Each year it is hard to say goodbye to my kids and I usually cry because I want more time to learn more and teach more and do more fun projects and to laugh more. Lucky me, I got to have most of you TWICE, that means I have to say goodbye twice though too. I know you're only going to be down the hall and I will still see you, but it will be different. I won't get to teach you and listen to your great stories, or hear your silly jokes, or listen to you sing obnoxious songs and make weird noises all day. :) I just want you to all know that YOU each make my job FUN and WORTH IT and ADVENTUROUS and CRAZY! You drive me bonkers and I definitely felt like I was losing my mind a few times :) BUT, you also made me smile and laugh and so proud! I was a little nervous to switch grades and teach 5th grade after 11 years in 3rd, but you guys helped make my year so wonderful!! You are all such hard workers, kind souls, hilarious comedians, creative artists, talented athletes, and BRILLIANT STUDENTS! Thank you so much for letting me be your teacher and for coming to school to hang out with me every day! It has truly been an honor and a privilege! SO, let's make these last 5 weeks together amazing and fun and full of laughter and memories!!!
Okay, now I'm going to go cry again... I love you all!
